This video is so beatiful and reminds me of the importance of being the best person you can be and what you look like on the outside doesn't matter it is who you are on the inside. Ruben and I had a horrible accident a little over a year ago where I almost lost my whole family myself included. This video reminds me of what I tend to forget, I need to love life everyday especially after I was given a second chance. The Lord has given me this gift and I need to live it to the fullest and not dread on wordly things.

Here are pics from Christmas, Ruben's Birthday and also Ruben and his birthday/valentines day gifts. The Jack Stacks barbecue actually came all the way from Kansas City, MO from the family Ruben stayed with there they are amazing and so nice to have sent Ruben this. We are doing great Ruben and I are walking in April so Grad pics to come and I am working full time at Melaleuca and Ruben is in school till July. We are happy to have our families in town soon.

This Christmas Ruben and I are staying in the good old freezing Rexburg, my family is in Guatemala talk about paradise and Rubens family is in Florida talk about paradise man what were we thinking. We decided it would be best to stay home for the holidays, but you know what its gonna be a great one Christmas is what you make not where you are and I am excited to have my first White Christmas even if its a cold one...............................

Here is our Christmas tree at night time!!!! When it is turned on I love it this year!!! I got new ornaments and ribbon I am so proud of myself and Ruben of course helped.

My little sister jumped into this pic didn't know she was there till I looked at it after she is soooo cute with those glasses her name is Emily and we call her memi so we nicknamed her memi potter like harry potter. Those are my brother's shades by the way wish I got some.

My Brother Christopher (Chris) Man he is getting big he is taller than me!!!!well that doesn't say much what am I like 5'1 hahaha Look at Ruben in the back of that one he wanted to be in it too.

Its a small world after all............... Pretty and lit up for Christmas already and me and these cool clip on minnie ears I loved them!!!

Here we are in the one hour line for Space mountain they ran out of Fast Passes you know those papers you can get to cut in line at a different time they ran out by 3 in the afternoon so we had to wait in line so worth it though.

They really wanted to be part of the parade, They asked and they said sorry we ran out of costumes so they still had to put their two cents in.....

At pirates of the carribean my favorite ride and look at my dad trying to be funny and give Chris some ears hahaha.

Here's a little summary.........................This thanksgiving was a great one Ruben and I definitely had a blast. We enjoyed California and family and wish we can go to Florida next time its time for a Vacation. I miss Florida it is so beautiful and I miss the Family I have out there too but hopefully we will see them soon I graduate in December but I am walking with Ruben in April when he graduates almost done booyah!!!!!!!!! okay well here's the good stuff fun pics...Of course most of these pics are at DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this place my parents present to the family I love that place it is the happiest place on earth I love it and it was Ruben's first time to the one in CA love it can go there everyday if I could.

What we have been up to since Ruben came home...........

This was Ruben's attempt to fly a kite I thought it was funny and also I told him there is no wind and obviously by the picture above it didn't work. He is such a little kid sometimes and then he had the great idea to have me drive and that he would put the kite out the window and fly it that way I did becuase I felt bad the other way didn't work. We laughed so hard becuase cars were behind us watching what we were doing I felt like a dork but ruben loved it.

We have gone to the mall a lot cuz I got gift cards for my birthday and me and Ruben decided to try the massage chairs they were actually quite comfy and relaxing.

The above pics are some of my birthday. I didn't want to do anything huge becuase I had a long day teaching but Ruben surprised me with a trip down to Idaho Falls and we ate Olive Garden and went shopping my favorite thing to do of course. Then he surprised me with a present and he got me a beautiful shirt, necklace and earrings he has really good taste when it comes to clothes. We had a yummy tres leches cake and he sang me happy birthday.

Here are some pics of the fair. We went to the eastern Idaho fair and it was a blast we ate everything possible my favorite were the scones. We also saw some baby cows and huge!!!! rabbits Ruben didn't know they had animals he was so surprised by all the different kinds. We had a blast at the fair so glad we went.

Future dream cars. I really want a new car bad and this is seriously my dream car it's a ford edge. I just need to get a teaching job here soon and this may become a reality. Ruben liked the ford explorer and said it would be a good temp car till he gets his escalade. HA HA we will see when that happens.

Here are some pics of us at Melaleuca baseball night. My work owns the stadium for the Idaho Falls Chukars and the whole company got free tickets to go watch a game so Ruben and I decided to go watch the game.

My Trip to Kansas City..........

So here are some pictures of my trip to Kansas City it was so much fun but a sad story because I was there for a week and a half and my camera broke two days before coming back to Rexburg. Ruben bought me a new camera for our anniversary especially since the old one broke. Lame I lost all my pics. The place that says bowl was a nightclub that Ruben and I went to that had dancing and a bowling alley inside but it totally had bouncers like it was so not ghetto but totally cool with a bowling alley inside. Then we went to this power and light district where there was a live band playing outside. It was really nice but hot the weather was so humid. Some of the pics I lost were of Adam-Ondi Amon I think thats how you spell it and some Amish communities it was hilarious because Ruben didn't know what Amish people were and how they lived. We laughed at how he reacted to them. He wanted to take pics of them up close and I was like Ruben we are not at a zoo, they are real people haha. They made the most amazing cinnamon rolls, they were so yummy!!!! Well here are some pics enjoy!!

So just wanted to clear up that the baby in "We have a surprise...." is not ours hahahahahah he looks like he could be huh??!! He is my little cousin and his name is Axel funny name huh?!!!!!!!! Ruben just loved the kid and He totally looked like ours. Hopefully when it is our turn for babies, our baby does look as cute as my cousin.

2 Year Anniversary!!! and Updates!!!!

This has definetely been a hard summer.....Ruben and I are away from each other for the summer because Ruben is doing an internship with the Kansas City Chiefs......Go Chiefs!!!haha If you know Ruben you know why this is funny and for those that may know us only a little Ruben is a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan but I must admit the family he is living with is doing their hardest to have him switch to the red and yellow or gold?!! I am not sure which one hahaha. I have been talking with friends and my blog needs to be updated so bad so I will make the goal to update once a week. I get to go see Ruben July 1st which is almost 2 months of not seeing him...He is in Missouri and I am excited to go I have never been there!!!

A little update on me, I am working hard at the old Melaleuca, world leader in concentrated, eco-friendly products haha thats what I say over the phone!!! and I am getting ready to do my student teaching in Rigby high school Go Trojans!!! and then hoping to get into a masters program for school counseling and Ruben has two semesters and then masters in business at ISU good old Pokie (Pocatello) Guess we might be staying in Idaho a wee bit longer. Those are the plans at least for the next two years.

Well its a little late but its Ruben and My 2 year anniversary this past 23rd of June and I thought I would blog about that. It has definetely been hard to be away from one another but it has definetely been the most amazing two years of our lives, we are just as in love if not more since the day we got married. Here is a few pics of the first two weeks we were dating. Oh how we have changed... I don't know for better or for worse hahaha.

This valentines day Ruben and I decided to have some fun and eat at Olive Garden we hadn't been there in a while and it was amazing!!! We just wanted to have a valentines day to remember how much we love each other and how happy we are that we have one another and life has given us a second chance to share the rest of our lives with one another. I haven't written on our blog in forever this year has been a crazy one. Ruben and I went to Guatemala for Christmas and it was amazing. We happened to have a car accident that made the last week hard and the reason why this blog doesn't have pictures. My camera memory card broke in the accident. We are just happy to be alive and given a second chance at life. We trully know that our Father in Heaven blessed us that day and blessed us to all be okay. Now we are living life to the fullest and are having a great year so far. We will post pics as soon as we can...........

My birthday came and I wasn't in the mood to do anything crazy I told Ruben I just wanted dinner and a chill day because I had to work on my Birthday. He ended up surprising me with some friends at the house after work and flowers at work. He bought a cute cake and we had a good time. Work also got me a nice plant and I was the talk of the night for being the girl who her husband had flowers delivered to her!!! Ruben is so sweet like that and I loved every minute of it. And here is a pic of the day my dad well my parents but mostly dad bought me my early birthday present, I GOT A COACH PURSE!!!!!!! (what can I say...... daddy's girl)

Our California Trip

I know I haven't written in a long time but here it goes...... This is our trip to California we decided to do one last major trip before school started. We first went to a Giants game and toured San Francisco then on another day we also went to San Fran with my family and we decided to ride the ferry and it was amazing! Also we all got new sunglasses as you can see in the sweet pic and we rode the trolleys. We went to the Monterey Bay aquarium and then went to the beach. I was an amazing trip. As you can see Ruben made some tamales and my little sister posed as a model. We loved it.

I got home from work late on thursday night and Ruben tells me that someone from church left something for me at the front door he hands it to me and walks away and then as I open the envelope and see that it is a hilton pass for a jacuzzi suite he jumps toward me and says SURPRISE PACK YOUR BAGS WE LEAVE FOR SALT LAKE TOMORROW!!! I freaked out and turns out he called my work and got me the days off and he had a suite reserved for 3 nights in Salt Lake city. It was amazing he had it all planned out. He took me to eat at the Garden restaurant in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and then he took me to the gateway mall and the movies and then the next day we went to Raging Waters and a Salt Lake city Bees game and then we ate at rodizio grill an amazing brazilian restaurant and we shopped at the park city outlets and just ate out all the time I loved it and my husband is amazing to have surprised me with such an amazing weekend. Ruben also surprised me with an amazing gift I wasn't expecting he got me a pair of nice earrings lets just say they start with dia and end in monds! He gave them to me in the Joseph Smith building and people thought he proposed by the way I acted so excited.!!! I can't believe we have been married for a year but it has definitley been an amazing one year!!!

Summer Fun

A new update, Ruben and I are working our tails off and are quite frankly getting sick of it, but the extra cash has been nice of course! Today is our 11th month anniversary and Ruben got me flowers yesterday for no reason, He's so sweet! We are getting ready for our 1 yr anniversary and we are so excited, we already picked out a huge gift for one another and we both know what it is but then we are getting alot of little stuff that are little surprises. I can't wait for our one year. Hope everyone is doing good and enjoying the summer.

As I said before my hubby got a new job it's at the Diamond Gallery here in Rexburg talk about Bling!!!! So if anyone is looking for diamonds you know who to call..... I have basically posted a ton of pictures of Ruben and I and it may seem as if we are full of ourselves but our little family is just Ruben and I at the moment so here we are and we will keep you posted hope you like it so far! Ruben and I are so excited to start a blog! well it is more like me, Stephanie writing on our blog but I thought it would be a cool way to keep in touch with friends and family. Currently, Ruben and I are still in school and I only have two semesters left plus a semester of student teaching. Ruben still has about 4 semesters left. We are still in Idaho and I am trying to decide what I am going to do this summer. Find a job and work full time hopefully. My family is coming to visit at the end of this month and we are so excited for that. Life is good and me and Ruben can't wait for the semester to be over and start having fun with no more snow. All my friends are moving on with their lives and having babies and I am so happy to have my close friends have babies. No babies for us yet but we can't wait for that either I still have so many plans for after graduating and I am really considering Beauty School! I would love to do that it has always been something I wanted to do, well see what happens, well keep you posted on the new things that are happening.

Our Honeymoon

Ruben and I went to DisneyWorld for our honeymoon the first day we went to Animal kingdom and we felt like little kids again then we went to MGM studios the second day and rode the Hollywood Tower of Terror like 10 times and the third day we went to Blizzard Beach a Disney water park. Ruben surprised me with one night going to an extremely expensive restaurant and they printed our names on the menus haha we had the best time of our lives. We spent a whole week in Orlando and shopped, ate, and had our fair share of rides we loved every minute of it and are dying to go back to Disney!!!

Our Story...................

Ruben and I met through a mutual friend in the winter of 2007 and Ruben claims I didn't give him the time of day so he said to himself this girl is out. Little did we know that in that fall I would move into his ward. He saw me on a sunday and remembered me, later in the month his roomates were planning an all roomate invite a girl you don't know on a date and Ruben picked me. Apparently, we were the couple that wouldn't stop talking and acted like we had known each other before.

Lets just say that we hung out every day after that first date on October 5th , and we were later engaged on February 9th. Ruben surprised me when we went to Idaho Falls for his best friends birthday. He offered to go early and put our name down at the restaurant for the entire group so we left an hour early. We decided to go to the temple to walk around as we waited for the rest of the group to show up. We decided to go into the visitors center and walked around the exibits there. As we were about to leave because it was time to go to dinner I saw a dozen roses on a table inside the visitors center and thought to myself they were beautiful but never once thought they were for me. Ruben told me to look at the card on the flowers and it said "Stephanie" I told Ruben they weren't for me it must be somebody else. Ruben began to open the card and said the flowers were for me I was completely shocked! He then took me by the hand and took me outside and right in front of the temple he proposed........ 4 months later we were married and love every minute of it.
